Thames Challenge II back on!
The Challenge II is planned to take place on Friday 21st/Saturday 22nd May. There are now 5 taking part, 4 rowing at any one time and one person coxing. The start will be at 6.00am on the Friday, timed to take advantage of the tides once we reach Richmond. The finish should be at about 12.00 mid day on Saturday.
We have sourced a different boat, to take the extra rowers, which was picked up on Sunday. Due to the increased speed that the rowers will be doing, there will not be a support boat on the non tidal Thames. However, the rowers will be joined by a launch at Richmond for the more dangerous section.
