Weighed Down by dead wood?
Info: 36% of staff say employers do not bother to take action on under performing co-workers.
According to a recent survey carried our for YouGov just about every business in the country employing more than four people have a problem with someone not pulling their weight. So bad is this in some cases that up to 30% of those affected are looking for a new job elsewhere.
If you wait until the under performance problem is so bad you are forced to deal with it then you may well have already lost your best staff. Whether the business is small or large the problem is the same "Fear of change and confrontation".
